Should I use UHF or VHF Radios?

The best frequency band to use depends on how you intend to use the radios. Most exterior applications use VHF for greater range. Interior applications, especially hi-rise buildings benefit from UHF being able to penetrate walls and floors better.

Is Digital worth the extra cost?

Digital radios offer improved range, less interference and privacy (even encryption) You may not need to spend the extra money for these features if you don't need them. Also, certain models can be upgraded after purchase with digital capability if needed.

What if my Radios don't reach my whole building?

Repeaters can be added to your building or site to increase the range of your radios. Most times this can be done with the radios you already have on site. Call us and we can walk you through the solutions available to you.

Can I get new Radios that work with my old ones?

Getting new radios to work with your old ones is as simple as reading your old radio and programming your new ones to use the same frequencies.
